DEPRESSION TREATMENT
Find Your Way Forward from Depression
A personalized, physician-led approach to understanding and treating the biological and neurological factors contributing to depression.
Depression often shows up in ways that aren’t always obvious—but deeply affect how you feel and function.
A lingering sense of sadness, emptiness, or lack of interest in things that once felt meaningful.
Even small tasks feel overwhelming, and it’s difficult to find the energy to get through the day.
Struggling to concentrate, think clearly, or stay engaged in conversations and work.
Why Traditional Anxiety Treatment Falls Short
Why Traditional Anxiety Treatment Falls Short
Depression is often treated as a purely psychological condition—but for many, there are underlying biological factors that go unaddressed.
Disruptions in serotonin, dopamine, and other brain chemicals can affect mood and motivation.
Thyroid issues, cortisol imbalance, and sex hormones can play a significant role in depressive symptoms.
Low-grade inflammation in the body has been linked to mood disorders and persistent fatigue.
We provide personalized, physician-led care to understand and treat the underlying causes of depression.
A detailed assessment of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors to understand the full picture.
Targeted testing to identify imbalances in hormones, nutrients, and neurological function.
A tailored approach combining medical care, nutritional support, and lifestyle interventions designed for long-term improvement.
What You Can Expect
A more consistent emotional baseline with fewer extreme highs and lows.
Reduced brain fog and improved ability to focus and think clearly.
More physical and mental energy to engage in daily life.
Gradual return of motivation and connection to things that matter to you.
What Our Clients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to stop my current antidepressant medication?
No. We review your current medications and work with you to determine whether
adjustments are appropriate. Many patients benefit from combining or replacing medication
with natural, integrative treatments or new electronic therapies.
How is this different from traditional depression treatment?
In addition to treating symptoms, I look for underlying contributors such as nutritional deficiencies, toxic exposures, hormonal imbalances, inflammation, sleep problems, stress, genetics, and lifestyle factors. We then work together to address these at your own pace.
What kind of testing is involved?
Testing may include comprehensive blood work, hormone evaluation, nutritional
assessments, inflammatory markers, genetic and stool testing when appropriate, evaluation for toxins, and other specialized testing based on your symptoms.
How long does it take to see improvement?
Many patients notice changes within a few weeks, although lasting improvement often
develops over several months. I tailor the treatment schedule to what is right for you.
Can this approach help if nothing has worked before?
Yes. Many patients benefit from integrative psychiatry after conventional treatments have
not provided sufficient relief. By addressing underlying causes, we often discover additional,
natural treatment options that can lead to meaningful improvements and renewed hope.
